My hubby put in a garden this year. This year is his second year at attempting a garden. I am so proud of him as he has tried so hard to make this year's garden a big success.

Both of my boys have even gotten into helping him take care of it. The little guy even insisted on helping daddy till the garden.

Nothing is as cute as watching the boys out in the garden getting so excited over a red tomato!!

This weekend we were out in the garden and realized that we have a first ever WATERMELON...we attempted last year, but failed miserably at growing them!

We have WATERMELON!! woohoo!

There are a few of them growing, but we do have some odds against us...

1. being a cute little trouble maker of a beagle pup...Cooper.

 2. being a tomato loving beagle lady, Daisy! Yep, that would be my potted tomato plant that she was determined to get a GREEN tomato off of. She does not discriminate....green or red, she will eat them both! (don't worry though, she does not eat the leaves, which can be poisonous to dogs)

We are keeping our fingers crossed, to say the least, that we actually get to eat them!

It's the little things in life that us Watkins get excited about!
